I sent her "support" address support@ithomeproducts.com three times a week to help. Back after a week and not by e-mail, I decided to try calling their help, solved the problem. Once on the phone with a representative, it was very short and completely blind to the situation and the lack of a response by e-mail. He has not ever apologize for the inconvenience, but ask the model number twice (apparently he was not listening the first time) and had my full name, e-mail address and other information before answering my question. I ended the conversation more worse than before the call. I thought my question was very simple and easy to solve the problem, but this company does not care about Customer Satisfaction With regard to the actual products go, it's a pretty cheap model so that you get what you pay for. If you need to convert the negative format. Jpg to print, the quality is not great. In all honesty, maybe the pictures would be a clearer impression of the image was saved, but I do not know. Good luck if you buy this, hopefully you will not need the support of the company. Krueger, I followed the instructions to install the scanner and the software can not find the device. I tried to get an updated driver, but no luck. I followed the instructions that said: "To further avoid conflicts of drivers, you can disable or install any other imaging device, such as webcams, digital camera or a traditional scanner in the device manager of your OS" (Apparently they not take the time to English in any way, but I've seen worse) Yes, that's right. They assume that you just picture a unit, even to them on your computer. If I resort to just that, it would go back to the store! I need to see what would happen, and I removed from the web cam. It still could not find the scanner, so it comes back to the store. I have a great experience in hardware, and I realize that sometimes units have installation problems, but my one star is because most of the text on the inactivation of other devices. I bought one on Black Friday to make images my negatvies and photos stored on my three daughters from his youth with whom I worked in my Vista for about two hours, was able to install a program after three re-boots and two facilities. I still have my negatives to scan, though a bit rosy. I never open them as the "tool" and kept stabbing at the end, would not save my pictures. I was twice close to the start and I lost my job. I'm ready ... it goes back to Kohl's and I'll do my homework on negative scanners before I buy it again. It was a good idea ... but a complete waste of my precious day off.
