Speed, quality, and the user interface: I am going to divide my review into three categories. ____ SPEED: I could not move anything to scan with the V750 because the wait time with each scanner is simply atrocious. It looks like they grab each time has its engine. On the other hand, are speed and agility of the 9000F impressive. I have several pictures at once on the glass scanner and the software allows you to independently select the settings for each image, mix resolutions and fixes. Then he goes and scans separately. And because LED light requires no warm up time, it works immediately, it can be done just as much! I scanned over 150 pictures in the early days of this scanner - had more than I did in two years, I have the Epson. But remember that when you scan film and slides, the scanning speed will be drastically reduced - it's just the way it is, regardless of the scanner QUALITY _____: The V750 is a professional quality scanner (which almost $ 800 price) seems a little better, with dust and scratch removal with Digital ICE. The 9000F uses DO, which works well but does not seem to be equally effective. Scans at 9000F tend to be slightly bluer, but you can easily change the correction. ______ Interface: The interface is a little clugey '(that's how you spell it?), But does everything I need, and while you're scanning a large number of photos you store them in a catalog until you are finished, then save files in a single pass. The software does not seem to keep some settings (I have to clear a check box to create subfolders based on date of scan), but overall it works very well. _____ CONCLUSION: If I had a part of having the best scanner (V750) choose and never used, and on the other hand, a large scanner (9000F) and use it like crazy, I would definitely do recommend Option BI 9000F for its beautiful design, easy installation, excellent quality scanning, Easy Photo Settings correction, the ability to simultaneously scan multiple images, and impressive speed! 243 of 250 people found the following review helpful. Probably the best overall "A4" size flatbed scanner in the $ 700 LG Charlot I bought this scanner primarily to digitally archive my 35mm film and slide collection. The scanner I used a 9-year old Microtek 4900 flatbed, was hardly up to the task, with a maximum resolution of 2400 dpi, and it had no built-in color correction for the orange mask of color negatives to remove, let alone automatic dust / scratch. And in 2400, it was much too slow, taking nearly one hour to a 6-frame film strip scanning. How is it to compare the Canon 9000F? A "market price" of $ 235 Amazom.com was almost $ 500 less than the Semi-Pro 700 Epson flatbed scanners. The 9000F can scan only two strips of 35 mm film in one operation, while the Epson can scan 4th 9000F scans of four mounted 35mm slides at a time, Epson Scan-8. But for most amateur photographers, the $ 700 price tag is pretty steep for Epson, and if you have thousands of slides or film strips to be scanned, not a higher capacity of Epson worth the extra cost. The sampling rate of 9000F at least four times faster than my old Microtek at all resolutions between 300 and 2400th At higher resolutions, the 9000F slowed noticeably - a single 35-mm film frame with 9600 dpi took about 20 minutes, activated with FARE. During the scan, the drive motor in the 9000F completely smooth, relatively quiet and my impression of fairly good quality. Other beneficial uses of the scanner, I sound like a cement mixer. 2nd The image quality I tested negative 9000F color film from 35 mm to 2400 dpi, 3200 dpi and 9600 dpi. The quality of the scans are all three.
