Good little machine for the money By Phydeaou I purchased this little guy in order to get the memories off of multiple thousands of slides that have been sitting in my parents' garage for 20-50 years. I read many reviews of this machine and the competitors and I went down to my local professional camera shop where the guy spent 30 minutes explaining about these technical details that I didn't much care about in a $400 scanner. I'm sure that would've been lovely, but I am looking to capture memories not the full depth of color of professional photography. I didn't have high expectations after reading the reviews, and I wasn't disappointed. After messing around with the settings for a bit I learned about all I needed to and I'm really happy with the quality of the scans, knowing that I spent less than a hundred bucks. It's worthwhile if you aren't expecting some magical machine for this price. See all 1 customer reviews...
